Volunteers

Would you like to be a journalist and work in our modern newsrooms? You are welcome at DuMont. Our regional media include strong regional newspapers with their digital services.

Our commitment to journalistic quality is reflected in the most prestigious awards. And our volunteers do not only learn the basics of journalism so that they can write articles. They use digitisation so that they can be on the spot with the right information at any time and anywhere.

Students

At DuMont, you can complete internships in a variety of departments: for example marketing, IT, central purchasing or editorial. We are happy to pass on knowledge! You will be involved directly in ongoing projects and therefore learn a lot about jobs and teamwork. The insights you gain and the experiences you gather will help you to choose your career.

Legal trainees

You can complete your legal internship at the Bundesanzeiger in Cologne. There, you will work with colleagues who will provide you with valuable knowledge about legal practice.

School pupils

Enjoy a successful start to your working life at DuMont. In our Regional Media, Business Information and Marketing Technology divisions, you will experience digitisation up close. We offer training courses and a dual course of study in forward-looking careers with fantastic opportunities for development. Individual trainee mentoring, the exchange of ideas and networking with trainees and colleagues from other departments are just some of the special features of your training.
