We turn over a new page every day.
DuMont Buchverlag publishes around 100 new titles every year. These include books by impressive German and international authors such as Michel Houellebecq, Mariana Leky, Nigel Slater, Madeleine Albright, Hilary Mantel, Meg Wolitzer, Delphine de Vigan, Arun Gandhi, Mohsin Hamid or Haruki Murakami.
A success story.
DuMont Buchverlag was established in 1956, initially with a different approach. It started as an art book publishing company with pioneering works on classical modernism. From the 1970s, travel literature and travel guides formed an essential part of the programme for three decades. In 1998, DuMont presented its first programme of literature. Today, DuMont Buchverlag brings together literature, non-fiction and illustrated non-fiction.
